Bridge vertical eddy tuned mass damper (reduce vertical vibration amplitude)


Through the finite element analysis of the model, the eddy-current tuned mass damper could be installed in the position of the corresponding model order of the bridge when the model exceeds the acceleration limit (according to the EN03 German Design of Footbridges Guideline, it’s considered the model with the frequency in the range of 1.25-4.6Hz). Generally the damper installed in the bridge box girder, between the trusses.

Bridge horizontal eddy current tuned mass damper


The horizontal eddy current tuned mass damper is used to control the amplitude and displacement of horizontal transverse and horizontal longitudinal of the pedestrian landscape bridge. According to the German EN03 design guideline, the horizontal and transverse frequency is 0.5-1.2Hz, and the horizontal vertical frequency is 1.25-4.6Hz.
